Hygiene/Preventive Care

Preventive care is a healthy balance of both professional dental care and healthy at-home dental hygiene habits. Our team will ensure that your smiles are as healthy and beautiful as possible.

Cosmetic Dentistry

Studies show that 99% of adults view a beautiful smile as an important social asset. Indeed, a healthy glowing smile can make or break an individual’s self confidence.

Emergency Dentistry

Unfortunately, dental emergencies are all too common, and can happen to anyone when they least expect them. We provide emergency dental services that will help relieve any pain or discomfort.

Extractions

When a tooth is broken or becomes severely infected or damaged, it is likely that you will need an extraction to help you return to optimal health, relieve pain and discomfort, and prevent problems.

Wisdom Teeth Removal

Fillings

When teeth become decayed or damaged from plaque or bacteria, fillings help to restore your teeth back to their normal function and shape.

Root Canal Treatment

Root canal procedures involve removing the nerve and pulp of a tooth. Your dentist will then clean and seal the inside of the infected tooth, removing bacteria.

Veneers

Veneers are porcelain laminates, custom made to be directly applied to a patient’s teeth. Veneers are an excellent option for correcting crooked or misaligned teeth.

Crowns

Similar to fillings, bridges and implants, crowns restore the durability, aesthetics and function of your smile.

Bridges

Bridges are devices that are attached to adjacent natural teeth that can either be permanently attached or removable.

Teeth Whitening

At Meyer Family Dental, our teeth whitening services are safe, cost-effective and produce immediate results.

Sealants

For this treatment, your dentist will apply a plastic film to the chewing surface of your teeth, effectively creating a protective barrier on your tooth enamel.

Dentures/Partials

Dentures and partial dentures are ideal for patients who want a natural looking and healthy smile after tooth loss.

Panoramic X-Rays

Panoramic radiography is used in preventive dental medicine to diagnose dental conditions and allows your dentist to see the entirety of your mouth within a single image.

N20 – Nitrous Oxide

Nitrous oxide/oxygen is an effective and safe way to help calm a nervous individual while undergoing dental work.

Implant Restoration

A dental implant is a small titanium post that gets implanted into the jawbone and replaces the root of a tooth.

Hygiene/Preventive Care

Preventive care is a healthy balance of both professional dental care and healthy at-home dental hygiene habits. Our team at Meyer Family Dental will work with you and your family to ensure that your smiles are as healthy and beautiful as possible.

Preventive dental care for children and adults include regular checkups and cleaning, dental sealants, full-mouth x-rays, diagnostic testing, fluoride treatments, and more.

The team at Meyer Family Dental is dedicated to helping you and your family achieve good dental health to last a lifetime.

Cosmetic Dentistry

Studies show that 99% of adults view a beautiful smile as an important social asset. Indeed, a healthy glowing smile can make or break an individual’s self confidence. Your smile can help you make a positive lasting first impression in both professional and personal atmospheres.

Aside from regular preventive and routine dental care visits, Meyer Family Dental offers comprehensive cosmetic dentistry services that can help bring your smile to the next level.

Emergency Dentistry

Unfortunately, dental emergencies are all too common, and can happen to anyone when they least expect them. At Meyer Family Dental, we provide emergency dental services that will help relieve any pain or discomfort you may be experiencing.

Our staff is equipped to handle majority of dental emergencies and can work with you to help you get the medical attention you need to address breakage, pain, or other dental problems.

Extractions

When a tooth is broken or becomes severely infected or damaged, it is likely that you will need an extraction.

Extracting significantly damaged teeth can help you return to optimal health, relieve you of pain and discomfort, and help prevent problems with surrounding teeth.

Wisdom Teeth Removal

Third molars, or wisdom teeth, are typically the last teeth to develop in a person’s mouth. While most people develop all 32 adult teeth, 80% of individuals don’t have jaws sizable enough to accommodate all four wisdom teeth.

When this is the case, the teeth are unable to emerge from the gums and become impacted, often leading to infections, abscess, discomfort and pain. Dr. Meyer and his experienced team is able to perform wisdom teeth removal procedures with ease and efficiency, ensuring your comfort and safety throughout.

Fillings

When teeth become decayed or damaged from plaque or bacteria, fillings help to restore your teeth back to their normal function and shape.

First, your dentist will remove the decayed tooth material, clean the affected area, and will fill the cleaned out cavity with a filling material.

Root Canal Treatment

Also known as a pulpectomy, root canal treatments are used to save and repair teeth that have been infested and decayed, often to the point of abscess. Root canal procedures involve removing the nerve and pulp of a tooth.

Your dentist will then clean and seal the inside of the infected tooth, removing the bacteria from the pulp of your tooth.

Veneers

Veneers are porcelain laminates, custom made to be directly applied to a patient’s teeth. Veneers look and feel like normal teeth and are an excellent option for improving your smile while correcting crooked or misaligned teeth. Additionally, veneers are ideal for patients who have tooth gaps or teeth resistant to dental bleaching.

Crowns

When teeth are severely damaged or in advanced stages of tooth decay, dental crowns may be a viable option for you. Similar to fillings, bridges and implants, crowns restore the durability, aesthetics and function of your smile.

Dental crowns can be made from a number of materials and covers the remaining tooth structure.

Bridges

Tooth decay, injury and gum disease often results in tooth loss. If tooth loss occurs, dental bridges are a viable option to replace missing teeth. Bridges are devices that are attached to adjacent natural teeth that can either be permanently attached or removable.

Bridges effectively prevent your natural teeth from shifting, which often results in pain and discomfort.

Teeth Whitening

As we age, environmental factors and habits such as smoking and drinking coffee and tea can lead to tooth staining and discoloration.

At Meyer Family Dental, our teeth whitening services are safe, cost-effective and produce immediate results.

Sealants

Dental sealants are an effective treatment that helps to prevent tooth decay. For this treatment, your dentist will apply a plastic film to the chewing surface of your teeth, effectively creating a protective barrier on your tooth enamel.

This barrier prevents food particles, plaque, bacteria and acids from penetrating the protective barrier on the surface of your teeth. Sealants are durable and can last several years before requiring reapplication.

Dentures/Partials

Major tooth loss is not only a cosmetic issue — it can have a dramatic effect on a person’s quality of life, affecting one’s ability to eat, speak, and feel comfortable. Dentures and partial dentures are ideal for patients who want a natural looking and healthy smile after tooth loss.

  • Complete dentures are available for those who are missing all of their teeth.
  • Partial dentures are ideal for those who retain some of their natural teeth.

Dentures are custom-made to fit comfortably and can help restore the ability to speak and eat and can prevent facial sagging.

N20 – Nitrous Oxide

Some children and adults feel may feel anxious during dental treatments and may need more support than just the caring and professional touch of our team members.

Nitrous oxide/oxygen is an effective and safe way to help calm a nervous individual while undergoing dental work. Nitrous oxide is a blend of oxygen and nitrous oxide that when inhaled, is absorbed by the body and has a calming effect.

Implant Restoration

Implants look and behave the same way as a natural tooth. A dental implant is a small titanium post that gets implanted into the jawbone and acts as a replacement for the root of a tooth.

The metal post is inserted into a drilled socket inside your jaw to enable the fitting of a replacement tooth.  Once the post is inserted into the bone socket, the implant will stimulate bone growth in order to make the jaw naturally grow around the implant and fuse together, while the teeth surrounding it stay intact.
